Dr. Yoon is an associate professor in the Department of Information Systems at University of Maryland Baltimore County. Before that, she was an associate professor at the Department of Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington.

She has published over thirty articles in leading journals such as MIS Quarterly, Decision Support Systems, Journal of Management Information Systems, Information and Management, Journal of Operation Research Society, and others.
